A sunny and scorching week is in store for the region. High pressure continues to dominate the area, leading to temperatures 15° or so above normal through Wednesday. That means the Boise area will see highs right at 100° or so for the next several days. And, there won't be much relief even in the mountains - many popular destinations like McCall and Cascade will top off around 90° this week.
The brutal triple-digit highs will dip a bit heading into the July 4th weekend, but still stay above normal. Saturday and Sunday are looking sunny and not as hot, with highs reaching 90-95.
