Calmer conditions are on tap for southwest Idaho today as gusty winds give way to a light breeze. Mostly cloudy skies will bring a few scattered showers to the region today but no major precipitation is expected. High temperatures will moderate a bit from Tuesday, reaching the low 60s.
More sunshine on Thursday and warmer temperatures: afternoon highs will jump by nearly 10 degrees in most areas, hitting the low 70s for Boise. Partly sunny conditions and 70-degree temps will stay with us through the weekend, though a weak system will bring some showers to the region Saturday morning.
