TREASURE VALLEY — Idaho State Police says there still could be sand on the roads that was applied during winter snow storms. They also say watch out for loose gravel.
Just because it's sunny, doesn't mean the roads are completely dry.
"There's areas where the sun hasn't had the opportunity to touch and we're still underneath that freezing threshold, and there still could be some slick spots out there. So just really encourage riders to be careful, especially coming around curves where they don't know what's coming up," said Jens Pattis, Sergeant, Idaho State Police.
