The flowers are blooming, the sun is shining, and spring ball is officially underway for the Boys in Blue. Along with some fresh air, Bronco Nation also got some fresh news: newly appointed Offensive Coordinator, Zak Hill, will be calling plays this season. Head Coach Bryan Harsin said that Hill’s background will give the Broncos a strong offensive advantage.
“I feel completely confident in him doing that (calling plays),” Harsin said. “He’s got a great demeanor as far as leading that room. His voice will be the one in there that those guys can hear.”
Harsin called the shots last season, but Hill made sure his voice was heard on third downs.
“We are still working together but at the same time, I think that’s a great opportunity for him,” Harsin said. “I think it’s the next step for us.”
