The College of Idaho earned the 5th seed in the NAIA National Tournament in Branson, Missouri.  The Coyotes will face 4th seeded Dakota Wesleyan in the 1st round.

It marks the 19th trip to the national tournament for the No. 19 ranked Yotes – the most among any CCC team.  It will be second meeting of Wesleyan of the Great Plains Athletic Conference.   No. 16 ranked DWU toppled C of I, 88-80, in the 2015 national quarterfinals, en route to a trip to the national title game.

College of Idaho point-guard Emanuel Morgan was also honored today as Cascade Conference Defensive Player of the Year, as the All-CCC Men's Basketball Team.

Melba, Idaho native Joey Nebeker was also selected to the 12-member All-CCC Team, while Aitor Zubizarreta was named an honorable mention selection.

With a win, the Yotes would meet the winner of top-ranked Union (Ky.) and Aquinas (Mich.) at 9:15 p.m. (CST) on Friday night.
