The College of Idaho is getting set for their season opener against the 19th ranked Montana Western Bulldogs. The Yotes were picked to finish in a tie for sixth in the frontier conference preseason coaches poll.
It's the second straight year, the Yotes have one of the more difficult schedules in the NAIA with nine of their 10 games against either a ranked NAIA opponent or division one opponent.
Last year the Bulldogs completed a season sweep of the C of I.
"Their tough we have never beat them there. They have beaten us three straight times there and they have beaten us five straight times because they are one of the three schools that we play twice a year. I thought they have had really good defense,” said, Head Coach Mike Moroski.
