Boise State freshman Janell Walley has been named the Mountain West Conference Defensive Player of the Week for Oct. 3-9. This is Walley's first conference weekly honor in her career at Boise State.
On the week, Walley recorded 22 digs, nine blocks she also had seven kills and tied for the team-high in service aces with two.
Walley and the Broncos travel to SJSU on Thursday, the return home October 20th to take on New Mexico.
