The Idaho Vandals’ Austin Rehkow has been named as the Specialist for punting on the USA Today’s Preseason All-America Team.
Rehkow has led the Vandals in punting for the last three seasons. He is Idaho’s career punting average leader and set the NCAA record for a freshman punter in 2013. That same season, he also broke the NCAA mark for a punter who kicked 75 times or more in a season.
Idaho begins the season next Thursday against Montana State inside the Kibbie Dome.
