U of I Vandals win Potato Bowl 61-50

In one of the highest scoring bowl games of all time, Idaho scored 41 unanswered points to take a 41-7 lead before withstanding a late charge from Colorado State with a final of  61-50.
As Idaho set plenty of records scoring the most points and total offense with 606 yards.  Quarterback Matt Linehan was named most valuable player after passing for 381 yards and four touchdowns, and also finding paydirt once against the Rams.

When the game started the temperature was at 22 degrees but the vandals offense was on fire inside Albertson stadium.
