Three Boise State men’s basketball student-athletes were selected to the media’s All-Mountain West teams. James Webb III was selected to the first team and Mikey Thompson was named third team, while Anthony Drmic was an honorable mention honoree.
During Mountain West play Webb led the Broncos in scoring 16.1 per game, rebounding 9.8 per game. Webb was a second-team selection last season by both the media and coaches.
Thompson was the only Bronco to start all 18 conference games. The senior finished MW play averaging 13.4 points, 3.4 assists, 3.2 rebounds. This is the first all-conference honor of Thompson’s career.
Drmic earned honorable mention accolades after averaging 12.7 points and 5.1 rebounds per game. The redshirt senior finished strong, averaging 17.6 points per game over the final seven contests. Drmic earned All-MW recognition each of his four seasons.
Boise State opens Mountain West Championship play Thursday, in the quarterfinals. The Broncos will tip off at 8:30 p.m. PT/9:30 p.m. MT against either No. 6 Colorado State or No. 11 San José State.
