Summer Golf Tip #8 with Coach Bird

I have teamed up with the Boise State Golf men’s and women’s golf team to help improve your golf game.  This weeks tip comes from Women’s Head Coach Nicole Bird dealing with ball positioning on the course.

Coach Bird says the ball needs to move in your stance depending on what club you use.

“When you are using your pitching wedge which is probably the highest lofted club in you bag your ball position should be in the middle of your stance,” said, Coach Bird.

“The ball should move progressively forward as you get to your lower lofted clubs to where you are hitting your driver it's barely going to be on the inside of your front foot.  Between a driver and a pitching wedge, you are going to adjust your ball position forward to the middle," said, Coach Bird.
