The Steelheads have three games remaining on their regular-season schedule will take on the Alaska Aces for the final three games.

The Steelheads and Aces have faced each other dating back to the WCHL Days.  However, the Aces have announced this season they will cease operations at the end of the season.

The Aces will be fighting for their playoff lives, currently, a point out of a playoff spot and are in a three-way battle with the Utah Grizzlies and Missouri Mavericks.

Idaho has recorded its tenth 40-win season in the ECHL era and even with Alaska leaving the league, Idaho says it's just about them.

"We are more focused on us and our game right now.  We have been playing pretty good hockey over the last 25, 30 games.  I think it's important that we keep playing the game the right way, keep improving in some areas and obviously keep the momentum going heading into the playoffs," said, Head Coach Neil Graham.
