Rain and the wind could not stop the Yotes in wrapping up their spring season. Most spring questions have been gathered around who will be leading the offense under center. One possible answer: Boise native Tyler Cox. He finished today going 12 of 24 with a touchdown pass and added 38 yards on the ground for the Gold Team.
However, he did have two interceptions. Head Coach Mike Moroski won’t officially name Cox as his quarterback for the fall, but he will say he is impressed with what he’s seen.
“Tyler Cox has earned a niche on the team. He’s got to be the smartest guy and he has gotta be able to run the show. But my plan right now is to get three quarterbacks ready and they may all play. We will have a freshman or two who will contend, that’s a good problem to have. But Tyler Cox carved a niche for himself in this program and he will play in the fall.” said Head Coach Mike Moroski.
