With the Heisman race over for this year with Louisville Lamar Jackson winning Saturday night in the Big apple it's now time to look ahead to next year and who know’s maybe Boise State’s Brett Rypien could hear his name called.
Jackson still has a chance to run for two-peat next year but there could be a chance of Rypien crashing the party.
USA today is rating their early favorites and the gunslinger name is on the list of players you should keep in consideration.
So far this season Rypien has tossed for over 3300 yards and 23 touchdowns, and he has also rushed for two scores.
With that said though the focus right now will be on the Baylor Bears who the Broncos will face on December 27th in the Cactus Bowl in Phoenix, Arizona.
