Today Hillcrest Country Club welcomed the 1st round of the Boise Open.  Over 130 golfers are looking to grab 1st place and bring home $180,000 dollars. 

One local golfer is in the mix with Caldwell native Tyler Aldridge, he is looking for just his third career victory as a pro. 

Looking at the Standings after Round one  Right now there is a three-way tie for first place between Adam Schenk, Sam Ryder, and Keith Mitchell they sit at -7 (64) for the day.

Behind them, there is a four-way tie for second place and you his highlights that include the South African native Rory Sabbatini. 

Round Two will kick off tomorrow at 8 o'clock and from there cuts will be made for the final two rounds of golf.
