The NBA Draft will take place this coming Thursday and former Boise State Bronco James Webb III hopes he made the cut. Webb led the Broncos in scoring this past season with nearly sixteen points per game, and ranked sixth in scoring in the entire Mountain West. He is also ranked sixth in steals for this past season. Some draft boards do not have Webb listed to hear his name called on Thursday, but Coach Rice says that even if he doesn’t get drafted, it’s definitely not over for Webb.
“Would it be great for him to be drafted? Yeah, and you know hopefully that will happen and hopefully he’ll go to the right team and we’re keeping our fingers crossed but I don’t think it’s the end-all. He’s going to keep working and find a way to have a successful pro career.” said Head Coach Leon Rice
The NBA Draft will happen in New York City on Thursday.
