The Boise State women's basketball team is off to one of its best starts in history at 8-1 overall with a NCAA RPI of 16 following Sunday’s game in Seattle at Washington.
The team isn’t taking anything for granted and will work around Christmas break and graduation to keep practicing. That means at times they will even have to practice at Boise High School.
Next week the Broncos host a pair of non-conference opponents playing Portland and Hawaii. A win in either game would be special for head coach Gordy Presnell who only needs one more “W” to hit 600 career wins.
"What I see from him is that he has changed the program and culture that he has created here at Boise State. That's going to speak more to me than his wins," said, Senior Guard Brooke Pahukoa.
"600 wins is a great achievement but I'm narrowing in on 300 loses to. That's almost a year of my wife having to get up with me all bummed out so certainly it's been a lot of fun and I'm glad I got a chance to keep coaching," said, Head Coach Gordy Presnell.
