The Vandals enter their third season under head coach Paul Petrino. The team appeared to be on the verge of heading off to a bowl game but fell just short in the final weeks of the regular season, finishing the year with a 4-8 record.
Idaho signed 18 players on national signing day and coach Petrino said that he will be surprised if his team doesn't play in a bowl game this year.
"We won four games and we blew two of them. We had a 21 point lead in those two games and that is something we have got to make sure doesnt happen again. We should be at a bowl game no matter what next year.” said head coach Paul Petrino.
