Today was a big day for the Boise State gymnastics team as they made history. The team checked in at number 10 giving them their highest national ranking in school history. They cracked the top ten for the first time ever and trail only number 4 UCLA in the West Region.
The record-setting ranking has come in large part because of the Broncos’ success on floor. The Blue and Orange are tied for No. 7 in the country on the event with a 49.175 average. Individually it has been redshirt sophomore Sandra Collantes leading the charge thanks to her 9.912 that has her tied for No. 7 nationally.
Boise State will face BYU on friday at 7:30 P.M. as a part of the Gem State Invitational. The meet will take place at CenturyLink Arena.
