The Broncos revenge tour of the Mountain West continues tomorrow against New Mexico. Last season, the Lobos shocked the Broncos with a win on the blue, but so far the Boys in Blue are the winners of four straight.
The Lobos have started conference play with a win against San Jose State after having two straight losses. If New Mexico is able to take down the Broncos they will become just the third conference team to beat Boise State in consecutive years since 2001. Coach Davie says that his team will have their work cut out for them.
“They execute at a very high level. Their bank of deceptive plays is better than anybody’s in the country. They do a tremendous job, most teams have one guy that can do some different things, but they have multiple guys and multiple packages. They create the absolute biggest challenge you have all year,” said New Mexico Head Coach Bob Davie.
