The Mountain West Conference has released its official non-Saturday football schedule and Boise State will take part in four conference matchups and at least one non-conference game on Friday nights this season. The Broncos’ other seven regular season games will be made official on a later date.

Thanks to the Mountain West T.V. bonus schedule, the Broncos will receive $900,000 dollars for their three-game broadcast on ESPN networks. The Broncos will play the remaining Friday night games on the CBS Sports network; facing off against New Mexico and Air Force. Athletic director Curt Apsey chimed in on the announcement of the televised games:

“Playing under the lights on national television is a tremendous opportunity for Boise State. Our football team has embraced this, and we need Bronco Nation behind us.” “Half of our home schedule has been announced, and we anticipate the other three games will also be played at night.”

Throughout the season, the Broncos will pay tribute to the greatest players in program history, and recognize the 2006 team on the 10th anniversary of it’s Fiesta Bowl win.
