Boise State running back Alexander Mattison who was a freshman last year could be the next great running back that Broncos could see this year on the field. The team will need to find a replacement for Jeremy McNichols who is forgoing his senior year to head to the NFL.
Mattison appeared in all 13 games, rushing for 328 yards and four touchdowns. He says he knows the expectations on him and says he is ready for the challenge.
“You know it's all about competing and I’m excited to get the chance to compete. It's not who is going to be the starting running back. I want to compete for that spot. You know all of us are going to compete for that spot and it’s going to make us all better,” said, Running Back Alexander Mattison.
