Kamalei Correa could play at next level

Posted

For Junior defensive lineman Kamalei Correa the Poinsettia Bowl could be his ticket to play in the NFL. The Junior lineman has played in 12 games this season and has 35 tackles and 8 and a half tackles for a loss.

Last season running back Jay Ajayi left early to play on Sundays, safety Darian Thompson stayed this season to get evaluated by the NFL.

Correa hasn't told Harsin that he is moving on just yet and coach feels he has played well this season.
"We try to go game to game i think he has done his assignment. I think he has played well. Obviously he is a good player, take the NFL stuff out of it he is a good player. When you see players on tape like we do you want to try and neutralize them and he probably has seen more of that this year than the year before.” said Coach Harsin.
