Tough break today for Junior Stud Gabe Perez as he is expected to miss the rest of this year, and will need to undergo shoulder surgery.
Perez was a redshirt last season having a torn labrum in his right shoulder. This time Perez will need left shoulder surgery.
He played in six games this year having five tackles and one for a loss. Looking at the depth chart he has been listed as a Co-Starter with Jabril Frazier.
Frazier has gotten the chance to start in all of the Broncos games this year. Boise State could look to Sam Whitney moving forward.
In other injury news freshman, wide receiver Julian Carter who has been redshirting this year will also have shoulder surgery.
Coach Harsin does expect Carter to return for spring practices. Senior Offensive Lineman Mario Yakoo who missed the BYU game should be back this week according to Coach Harsin. Linebacker Leighton Vander Esch is still listed day to day.
