We are less than four weeks away from the Bronco’s first game against Louisiana-Lafayette. Several star players from last year’s roster have gone on to play in the NFL and a Local product out of Meridian is listed as the starter as the starter at center replacing Marcus Henry who is now with the Saints.
Mason Hampton became a Bronco in 2013 with walk-on status but was given a scholarship just before the start of the 2014 season. He understands the importance of the position as well as its history at Boise State with former Bronco center Matt Paradis starting for the Denver Broncos.
“It’s such a history of local guys coming in thinking they're going to be in smaller roles and then they end up being a really big part of the team. If i could be able to do that would be awesome," said Center Mason Hampton.
