Boise State senior center Mason Hampton was named to the Rimington Trophy Spring Watch List.
Hampton started all 11 games in which he appeared last season. He started his college career as a walk-on but earned a scholarship before the 2014 season and he started 11 games last season.
The Bronco center also leads in the classroom, as this past December Hampton was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America Football First Team, becoming just the fifth Bronco football student-athlete to earn the honor.
The winner of the 2017 Rimington Trophy will be recognized during a presentation at the Rococo Theatre in Lincoln, Nebraska on Jan. 13, 2018.
