Freshman Dynamic Duo assist in Bronco Victory

The Boise State men’s basketball team got a huge helping hand from freshmen Alex Hobbs and Justinian Jessup. Hobbs put up sixteen points, while Jessup collected 14 points. The Broncos were able to hold on for a victory 85 to 75 at home.

Paris Austin leads the pack of scorers from Boise State with 18 points. The team saw five players finish in double figures. After a powerhouse game, Coach Rice said his freshman dynamic duo were a huge help in the game.

"They both could have ended up with 20 had they not turned the ball over. It would have sucked them back in. Those two are getting even better, Alex has improved, they're important and it's great to see them making jumps. For them to get this kind of experience in meaningful, meaningful games,” said Head Coach Leon Rice.
