Bronco Senior linebacker Blake Whitlock came in as a walk-on could potentially see the field this fall for the blue and orange.
Whitlock even had the chance to start in the Cactus Bowl which will only help this fall with the lack of depth at the position.
Ben Weaver, Darren Lee and Tanner Vallejo graduated and season veteran Joe Martarano deciding to leave the program to pursue professional baseball.
The team will be much younger and inexperienced, but Whitlock says he is confident and up for the challenge.
“First and foremost it’s kinda sad out there. Those are some dudes that really took me under their wing when I first got her and showed me the ropes and showed me how to play Bronco Football.
Losing those guys is kind of sad those are my buddies but moving forward we are excited, we are young there is getting around that. We have a lot of guys that really want to work hard and try to find their way to just help this team win,” said, Senior Linebacker Blake Whitlock
