Five Boise State football players will play their final contests as collegians over the next three weeks, as safety Darian Thompson (Reese’s Senior Bowl), center Marcus Henry (East-West Shrine Game), safety Mercy Maston (Tropic Bowl), defensive end Rondell McNair (Tropic Bowl) and wide receiver Shane Williams-Rhodes (Tropic Bowl) are slated to participate in end-of-season senior all-star games.

Maston and Williams-Rhodes will be the first in action, playing for the National team at the 2016 Tropic Bowl this Sunday.

Henry, a two-time selection to the All-Mountain West First Team, accepted an invitation to the 91st East-West Shrine Game, and will be in action Saturday, Jan. 23, playing for the West squad. The East-West Shrine Game is set for a 2 p.m. MT kickoff at Tropicana Field in St. Petersburg, Fla., and will be televised live on NFL Network.

Thompson, the Mountain West’s all-time interceptions leader and a two-time All-American (2014-15), accepted an invite in November to play in the Reese’s Senior Bowl Saturday, Jan. 30, in Mobile, Ala. The North and South rosters will be announced Friday, Jan. 22, with the coaching staff of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys coaching the North side and the staff of the Jacksonville Jaguars running the operation for the South squad.
