The Idaho Vandals held their first fall practice last night. Depth and experience have made a difference in just one day of camp. That is even more evident at the line and quarterback position with Matt Linehan returning for his third season under center. So far Coach Petrino is excited to be back on the gridiron.
“You always kind of do what your o-line can do and what your quarterback can do offensively and having four starters back up front and having a quarterback that's going to be a three-year starter that's going to give us a chance to run most of the playbook. I think we have more weapons since we have been here and our goal this year is to average 40 points a game,” said Petrino.
