The Boise State Broncos picked up a their first win against a ranked opponent since 2009 on Saturday with a 74 to 72 victory against the Oregon Ducks.
Boise State’s bench was big help to the victory by outscoring Oregon 17 to 7. Sophomore guard Chandler Hutchinson scored 8 points and grabbed seven rebounds, While freshman Forward Zach Haney chipped in seven points and four rebounds.
Christmas came in early for head coach Leon Rice.
"That's been on my Christmas list this whole month, to develop this bench and get them as good as they can get, and I've seen the development coming. I've seen Haney doing some things in practice, and Chandler is doing his role. So great job by our bench to give us that lift." said, Coach Rice.
