Cedrick Wilson is back and better than ever after an ankle injury that kept him benched for much of last season. Wilson tore ligaments in his foot in the game against New Mexico.
Now that Sperbeck has graduated, the possibilities for Wilson’s season are endless. This will be his final season with the Broncos, but despite missing all the spring practices, he hasn’t yet shown any struggles in fall camp.
"We are football players. We aren't going to be a hundred percent all the time but I'm definitely feeling better than I have in the past, just running out there and flying and chasing the footballs is pretty much what I wanted to do,” Wilson said.
“Coach Harsin was telling us in the meeting the other day (that) leaders have to carry a certain weight so I have to watch what I say and say certain things cause what leaders say hold more power than others."
