The Boise State women's basketball team is inching closer to the first game of the season. They will face Carroll College next Sunday for an exhibition affair.

The women are coming off a year in which they won a program-record 25 games and also captured the Mountain West Tournament title and reached the NCAA tournament.

It was the Broncos' second conference tournament crown and NCAA tournament appearance over the past three seasons.

The team only returns two seniors but with their resume, they’re excited to get going.

"I see we got a vote today in the top 25 and we have a great home schedule that will hopefully prepare us for that we have Washington, and Washington state and saint marys come here so we have a great home non-conference schedule.  We have a lot of new faces for our fans to look at I think we are going to be a little deeper than we have ever been so I really look forward to the start of the season," said Head Coach Gordy Presnell.
