The Boise State football team will make its 14th-consecutive bowl appearance, traveling to San Diego to square off against Northern Illinois of the Mid-American Conference in the 2015 San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl, Dec. 23.

The 11th annual Poinsettia Bowl is scheduled to kick off at 2:30 p.m. MT, at Qualcomm Stadium, home of the National Football League’s San Diego Chargers. The game will be televised nationally by ESPN.

The Broncos went 8-4 in 2015, finishing tied for second in the Mountain West’s Mountain Division. Boise State ranks 18th nationally in total offense (488.8) and 24th nationally in total defense.

The Poinsettia Bowl will mark the first meeting between the Broncos and Huskies, who went 8-5 this season, falling in the Marathon MAC Football Championship Game after winning the league’s West Division.
