The Broncos earned the 13th seed and will face against 4th seeded UCLA in this year's NCAA tournament.
Boise State is 2-8 all-time in postseason play. Boise State is also 2-0 all-time against Boise State, but haven't faced the Bruins since 1994. UCLA lost at home, 66-64, on Dec. 19, 1993, and fell at Boise State, 61-45, on Dec. 3, 1994. Boise State is 0-3 all-time in the NCAA Tournament, including losses at Washington, George Washington, and Tennessee in 2015.
For the players though they understand that the Bruins will be tough but they are just soaking in all the excitement that is involved with the NCAA tournament.
It's definitely a little bit scary but I think it's a great challenge. We’ve played a couple of Pac-12 teams already which have been great games it’s going to be fun and it’s going to be hard,” said, Junior Forward Shay Shaw.
“The NCAA are so fun we get the chance to charter a plane down there and we get treated amazingly. I actually went to UCLA last year when we didn’t win the Mountain West and we watched Colorado State play USF. I’m super excited to play there,” said, Senior Guard Brooke Pahukoa.
