Brett Rypien took on Washington State, his childhood home team, Saturday night. He also put up solid numbers in a winning effort against the Cougars.
Rypien finished his night completing 19 of 35 passes and throwing just one yard shy of 300 yards. Wide receiver Thomas Sperbeck connected on seven passes for 133 yards.
Unfortunately, Rypien ended up throwing three interceptions. He says he hopes to clean up those mistakes during the bye week.
“Definitely some uncharacteristic mistakes I made tonight. We won. We’re 2-0. Our defense played unbelievable. That just means I’ve got to be better in my preparation and we just gotta be better on offense as a whole,” said, Quarterback Brett Rypien.
