One takeaway for the Broncos from last night's game against Washington State is that they might have been able to find some help out on the edge.
Last season saw Donte Deayon and Darian Thompson carry the bulk of the load, but last night Tyler Horton proved he could be the guy.
Tyler Horton’s 85-yard interception return for a touchdown is the sixth longest in school history. Horton said after the game that his pick was a long time coming.
“It’s a great feeling. It feels good to be on defense and get the ball and to go score. Coach was saying when we score on defense we have a high chance of winning the game, and we did win the game. That’s what my mindset was ‘Hey, why not get the first touchdown of the game?’” Horton said.
