Boise State knocked off #24 Oregon at Taco Bell Arena. The Bronco’s led by as many as 17 points in the second half. The final was 74- to 72.
Anthony Drmic led the Broncos with 19 points and moved up to number 5 on Boise State’s All-Time Scoring list. The bench outscored Oregon’s 17 to 7. The win was Boise State’s first in the All-Time Series with the Ducks. Boise State committed a season-low nine turnovers. Three of them came in the final 1:48.
Saturday marked the seventh time in program history the Broncos hosted a non conference game against a team ranked in the Associated Press Top 25, and the first since Dec. 29, 2007, against No. 20 BYU. Boise State is now 4-3 in those games.
Boise State is off next week for finals before continuing its five-game home stand Sunday Dec. 20, against Bradley.
