The Broncos are still on the outside looking in at playing in the Mountain West Championship game as Wyoming defeated San Diego State by stopping them on a two-point conversion yesterday.

Boise State will need the Cowboys to lose their regular-season finale against New Mexico and the Broncos will need to beat air force on Friday for a chance at the title game.

Brett Rypien and his fellow quarterbacks sat in the QB room hoping for a different result but it didn’t come.

If the Broncos miss the chance at playing in the conference championship it will be a tough pill to swallow moving forward.

“Obviously it's frustrating not being able to control your own destiny and go to the Mountain West Championship, but what are you going to do you can’t really just sit here and complain about it.  We have to focus on Air Force.  Credit to Wyoming they have taken care of business in the conference and if they win out they deserve to be in the championship,” said, Boise State Quarterback Brett Rypien.
