The Boise State’s Men’s Basketball Team began competition in Costa Rica with a doubleheader split against a pair of Canadian college programs.

Along with hoops, the Broncos are learning the culture of the country. Some of the highlights included a visit to the National Soccer Stadium, a cathedral, golfing, and feeding the pigeons in Central Park. The Trip allows the team to grow together as a unit, as well as allowing them to get some extra skills on the hardwood.

“Great day learning the history of Costa Rica and getting a tour. I think I saw our freshmen grow up in one day, and that’s kind of the goal; getting a lot of people a lot of minutes and a lot of reputation that they don’t get to get in the fall,” said Head Coach Leon Rice.
