Former Boise State wrestler George Ivanov has qualified to compete in the Olympics in Rio De Janeiro, Brazil this summer. He is only the second Bronco wrestler to earn a spot in the Olympics, and the first one since 2000. During Ivanov’s career at Boise State, he took home the “Most Outstanding Wrestler” award at the 2013 Pac 12 Championships, and also won the conference title at 157 pounds. He won the silver medal at the World Olympic Qualifier while competing for Bulgaria yesterday.
