After In-State rivalry Idaho hasn’t been on the Broncos schedule for several years, BYU recently has become the next must-see game.
Also, absent on Boise State's schedule is Fresno State, Nevada, and San Diego State due to the way the Mountain West has the conference schedule set up.
With that said Athletic Director Curt Apsey said that BYU has become a solid addition to the Broncos schedule.
The two schools are only 380 miles apart and as of now, the Broncos own the series 5-2. According to Apsey he hopes to continue to play this game.
"It’s a game that people get so excited about as both programs are really good. It’s helpful for our fans that both schools are so close you don't have to get on an airplane, you can drive and I think that's what people look forward to the most," said, Boise State Athletic Director Curt Apsey.
