#4 BSU face #5 Washington in NCAA Tourney

BOISE -

Its selection Sunday for the Broncos and as you can see they are pumped up and ready to go for their 1st NCAA tournament.  The Broncos are going to the Emerald City to face the 5th seeded Washington Huskies.

Boise State earned the 4th seed after capturing their first mountain west title yesterday against the New Mexico Lobos.  This season Boise State went 40-14 overall. The game will air on national television on ESPNU this Friday at 9:30 am.

Washington made the trip to the college world series last year and finished this year going 44-8. The two teams faced each other once already this season in the fall portion of the Broncos schedule.  Head Coach Cindy Ball also coached the Huskies in 2011 so familiarity is on their side.

"We are just in a really good place cause we are going to feel comfortable.  A lot of the girls have played at Washington two years ago. so they are going to be used to that.  I did coach there and know the staff really well so it's going to be a fun experience. I wouldn't want it any other way,” said Head Coach Cindy Ball.
