If you’re a Skittles fan, you’ll soon have a new way to “taste the rainbow”: Skittles Gummies!

While the original fruit-flavored candy could be classified as chewy, this is the first time Skittles have been in actual gummy form in the U.S. The bite-sized gummy candies will come in two different flavor packs: Original and Wild Berry.

The Original pack will have the five traditional Skittle flavors (strawberry, green apple, lemon, orange and grape), while the Wild Berry will have berry punch, strawberry, melon berry, wild cherry and raspberry. A Skittles representative tells Simplemost that the new gummies will be available at retailers nationwide this spring.

Mars, Inc

While this is the first gummy candy from Skittles, it is not the first time the candy brand has jazzed up its offerings. There are various flavors like smoothie and sour and there have been holiday flavors for Valentine’s Day and Halloween.

In 2017, they began making spicy Skittles and last year, they added yogurt-covered Skittles to the line-up. You can even buy Skittles freezer pops and Skittles powdered drink mix to turn your water into a caffeinated version of the candy.

Looking for other new sweet treats? While the Halloween candy season may be behind us, there are still new candies hitting the shelves for the holidays.

Hershey’s holiday candy is in stores and includes Reese’s Peanut Butter Nutcrackers and White Elephants, Hershey’s Cookie ‘N’ Crème Build-A-Snowman and Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Build-A-Santa.

Hershey's

There are also Sugar Cookie Hershey’s Kisses, which the brand says are “made with cookie pieces and joy” and would be tasty on their own or in a baked good like peanut butter blossoms.

Personally, I’ll be sticking to the Skittles and chocolate, but if you’re looking for something really different this holiday season, you can try stuffing stockings with ketchup-flavored candy canes.
