BOISE, Idaho — The Idaho Wine Commission is celebrating Savor Idaho's 11th anniversary Sunday, June 9 at the Idaho Botanical Garden.

The sold out event gives consumers a unique opportunity to savor the best Idaho has to offer in wine and food. Area wineries will be showing off their best.

While people have been growing grapes here for decades, the first designated growing area in Idaho was only approved in 2007. The industry, like its product, is only getting better with age.

This month, the Idaho Wine Commission is celebrating 10 years of rapid wine growth in the state.

"I always tell people, drink what you like. I like Rieslings and Viogniers. If you don't, just spit it out and try something else because there's something for everybody," said Moya Dolsby, Idaho Wine Commission executive director.

And it's more than just good taste, it's big business. The wine industry pours about $170 million into the Idaho economy annually.

If you did manage to snag a ticket, you will have access to food and beverage samples with additional food and wine available for purchase on site.

Here is a full list of wineries, food and exhibitors that will be at the event.
