GARDEN CITY, Idaho — A Garden City man has been arrested for aggravated battery, after police say he attacked his roommate with brass knuckles.
Authorities say the incident happened around 2:30 p.m. on Thursday.
The 26-year-old victim fled the scene and met officers at a local restaurant. Police say he had lacerations to his head and hand and was treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
The victim told police his roommate, Cody Sumpter, hit him with brass knuckles during an argument at their home. Sumpter was taken into custody during a traffic stop several hours later.
The investigation is ongoing.
