The Wyakin Foundation works to help wounded warriors transition to a successful life after the military.

Saturday, the Boise-based organization hosted a cornhole tournament at Sockeye Brewery to help continue their efforts to help veterans.

The tournament sold out for the third year in a row. Organizers like Brent Taylor with the Wyakin Foundation say the event is a great opportunity for people to pay it forward in a fun way.

"To get out here and be able to raise money and do something fun at the same time is great for us because that money will allow us to guide the warriors in our program to find that renewed sense of purpose to get through school to succeed in school to succeed in their careers and not just get a job but to thrive in that new career," Taylor said.

Many of the wounded veterans the foundation helps go on to work with the Wyakin Foundation in an effort to help those who come after them.
