Wreaths Across America honors heroes at their final resting place

A show of remembrance Saturday for American service members no longer with us. Thousands coming out across the country to lay wreaths on veteran grave sites.

At the Idaho State Veterans Cemetery, 4,300 wreaths were laid out, one for each grave marker. Families with loved ones resting at the cemetery say it's comforting to know their loved ones are not forgotten

"It just makes me feel so proud and honored to be here and I know what all these people are feeling it just makes your heart feel good to know that we live in America," said Barbara Nelson who's husband fought in the Korean War.

More than 1,400 cemeteries took part "Wreaths Across America" with well over a million wreaths in total. Saturday's ceremony in Boise was hosted by the Eagle Chapter of The Daughters of the American Revolution
