BOISE, Idaho — A winter warming shelter for those experiencing homelessness is now open at the former Foothills School of Arts and Sciences (618 S. 8th Street). The shelter is open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. seven days a week with Interfaith Sanctuary providing staff, supplies and management.

The Our Path Home OUTREACH team and community partners like Corpus Christi House and places of faith are donating time and resources to provide additional staff, case management services, snacks and supplies. The City of Boise is providing funds for rent, utilities and a midday meal.

In previous years, Corpus Christi House was a winter day shelter for those experiencing homelessness. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, that winter day shelter has been limited to providing services like showers and mail.
