"The biggest thing is proper traction on your vehicle. You know a good set of winter tires, something that will do a nice job on ice and slick stuff, that's the best way to go. If it is a designated winter tire, something that was purpose built or purpose bought then that is a tire that is designed for the ice and snow. Most vehicles here in the valley if you have a really nice all season tire on it. One of your top end or better type of all seasons, that will do just fine," said Mick Alley, owner of Big O Tires in downtown Boise.
